CONNECTING OUR TIG WELDING TORCHES - WP9, WP17, WP26
1/ Screw on the Torch nut to the 3/8 BSP thread of the adaptor and tighten
2/ Push and turn the plug of the adaptor into the Negative socket of your welder
3/ Connect the gas pipe with the 1/4 BSP or 3/8 BSP nut to the gas outlet on the front of your welder if it has the facility or to a gas bottle via a gas regulator
Note - You can replace or adapt the 3/8 BSP or 1/4 BSP gas pipe nut to suit your welder
The diameter of the hole in the centre of a welding socket on the front of the machine measures
Large type plug Measures approx 12.80 mm
Small type plug Measures approx 8.80 mm
Note - There are only two sizes of plug
The adaptors are available in four different combinations
a/ Small plug with 3/8 BSP gas fitting
b/ Small plug with 1/4 BSP gas fitting
